You don't understand the point. No one is saying max cheated. The purpose of the virtual is freezing the gap between pilots but ist's clearly ineffective due to a series of factors. These factors may benefits some pilots and disadvantage others so as a result the virtual fails the aim. In F1 details matters and this page explain them but users comment like cheerleader because they are not able to understand what they read and your answer makes it clear.28-03-2022 15:58

Before the virtual the gap was 1.6-1.7 s and in any case max was not able go down 1.4 s. After the virtual the gap was 1.05 passed to 0.98 in the straight. With the drs he had the chance to get closer and closer in a fews laps. The virtual should keep the gap unchanged but this has not happened yesterday and it's a fact. Mathematics is not an opinion, 1.7 ≠ 1.05. Without the trick of delta time max would have ended the race 2nd. Anyone who says otherwise is a cheerleader not an F1 fan.28-03-2022 13:25
